Tranformers Casting Call

ClickOnDetroit.com reports that the Transformers production is looking for extras:Paid extras needed for major motion picture "Transformers".The movie is directed by Michael Bay with Steven Spielberg acting as executive producer.

Extras 16 years of age & older are needed to work outside for the 2-day scene currently scheduled for the first week of Oct. 2006.

I'm Iron Man

Reuters/Hollywood Reporter has report that Robert Downey Jr. is suiting up to be Iron Man, a Superhero from Marvel comics.

Jon Favreau is directing the film for Paramount Pictures. They will begin filming this February.

Downey will portray Tony Stark a billionaire industrialist and genius inventor who is kidnapped and forced to build a devastating weapon. builds a high-tech suit of armor and escapes captivity. Upon his return to the U.S., he uncovers a plot with global implications and must don his armor and protect the world.

The movie has a budget of 100 million.

Downey will be able to relate to Tony Stark because they are both have chemical demons. In the comic book Tony Stark has a drinking problem and it is not mention that if the movie will tackle that issue.
