I'm Iron Man
Reuters/Hollywood Reporter has report that Robert Downey Jr. is suiting up to be Iron Man, a Superhero from Marvel comics.
Jon Favreau is directing the film for Paramount Pictures. They will begin filming this February.
Downey will portray Tony Stark a billionaire industrialist and genius inventor who is kidnapped and forced to build a devastating weapon. builds a high-tech suit of armor and escapes captivity. Upon his return to the U.S., he uncovers a plot with global implications and must don his armor and protect the world.
The movie has a budget of 100 million.
Downey will be able to relate to Tony Stark because they are both have chemical demons. In the comic book Tony Stark has a drinking problem and it is not mention that if the movie will tackle that issue.

Two creatures, an adult and an infant, rush in the depths of a cave, and discover a baby monster, quite big for his age, who’s hunting insects. The adult catches the baby monster and devours him. Mean while, the infant follows the insect, released from the monster’s claws.
Suddenly, the monster’s mother springs from nowhere and crushes the adult creature with her sharp teeth. The child, horrified, runs away, using the closest gallery. Unfortunately, after having a bad fall, he turns out to be in the maze of an unfriendly cemetery.
A wild chase begins, in which the huge and revengeful monster wants to put an end to the innocent child’s life !

PLAY! A Video Game Symphony is a Symphony world-tour featuring music from blockbuster video games. The music is performed by some of the finest, world-class orchestras and choirs. All concerts take place in classy, prestigious venues. Graphics on large screens suspended above the orchestra accompany the scores, highlighting memorable moments from the video games.

The New Seasons
The Simpsons had a lot of the Godfather reference to it. Fat Tony getting gunned down by a helicopter (Godfather III). Fat Tony's kid name Michael. The ending where Lisa ask about the Michael’s intentions and closing of the doors (like in Godfather I) Just to name a few.It was not the best of the Simpsons.
But it was great that after 18 years the Simpsons is still very funny.
The Family Guy pulled out the stop to Grossville. It was very enjoyable and sometime a little to gross but this is what we expect from the Griffins.

FOX’s The Simpson’s Fox Interactive Media (FIM) will offer an online glimpse at the first episode. It will have seven-minute sneak peek of the season opener.
The Simpson’s 18th season will start this Sunday Sept 10 at 8 p.m. Simpson season opener will have a spoof on the HBO’s crime drama the Sopranos and will have guest voice by Michael Imperioli, Joe Mantegna, Joe Pantoliano and Metallica.
The episodes will be about Lisa befriends the son of mob boss Fat Tony

Dambusters
Peter Jackson will produce and his Oscar-winning VFX shop WETA will do the visuals for the remake of the Dambusters
First timer Christian River, who was animation director on Jackson’s King Kong, will direct this film. Christian River has received an Oscar for his work in King Kong.
Dambuster is inspired by actual events. Also based on the book by Paul Brick Hill.

3d Happy Feet Cancelled
Last October IMAX announced there would be a 3d IMAX version of the tap-dancing penguin animate comedy “Happy Feet:” But for reason unknown Warner Brothers has canned the 3d version. A 2d IMAX version is still to be released.

Cars Dvd Release

Disney/Pixar will release CARS on Nov. 7 2006 on DVD.
The extras on the DVD will have an all neww animated short MATER AND THE GHOSTLIGHT. The short is about the tow truck in CARS and a unexplained Ghostlight that huants the town and the residents.
Also in the DVD will inculude Pixar's ONE MAN BAND (Oscar Nominated for best Animated short 2005)
There will be behind-the-scenes, the making of themovie and deleted scenes.
RATATOUILLE will be a feature on the dvd.

Studio 2.0

The Hollywood Report has reported that Warner Bros has announced that they will create a new division that will bring original animated and live action content for the internet. It will be called Studio 2.0 and it will be lead by Rich Rosenthal, Brother of Everybody Love Raymond creator/ exec. Producer Phil Rosenthal.

Poser has been the one of the best 3d character creator.
e-frontier was offering Poser 5 for free download but only for Sept 1-4. I saw this last night and all you have to do is registered with content paradise.
I was not able to download it because of the high demand. The site said that I should try again in couple of hours.
